In the exploration of Hollow Knight: Silksong, players often encounter unexpected outcomes, both positive and negative. For instance, a challenging time-sensitive platform challenge could reward Hornet with a Mask Shard, while other explorations might lead to finding nothing at all. Additionally, there are items that may seem ambiguous in their usage. One such item is the Seeker’s Soul in Silksong.

Locating Seeker’s Soul in Silksong

The Seeker’s Soul is obtainable from a shell home situated in Bilewater, close to the Key of Apostate position in Silksong. Players can gather it on their quest for the key.

To reach the Seeker’s Soul location in Silksong, players can choose between two paths:

• Travel to Bilewater from the southern side via Sinner’s Road before heading north to the upper section of Bilewater.
• Enter Bilewater from the north through the Putrified Ducts route in Silksong.

The second option is often preferred for its safety and speed; however, players will need the Double Jump skill, which can only be acquired in the midgame.

If players have not yet connected the Putrified Ducts to Bilewater, they will need to take the first route. Be prepared to confront multiple waves of enemies and a boss battle with Groal, all without a nearby bench. This means if Hornet falls in battle, she will respawn at the last bench she visited.

Utilizing Seeker’s Soul in Silksong

The Seeker’s Soul is crucial for unlocking the hidden Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong. To accomplish this, Hornet will need three other souls, two of which can only be obtained after commencing the Silk and Soul Wish quest. Until the necessary conditions to initiate the Silk and Soul quest are met, the Seeker’s Soul will remain inactive in Hornet’s inventory.

Before starting the quest, players can also gather the Snare Setter. It can be found in Weavenest Atla, which resides behind a door that requires the Needolin song found in Bone Bottom. After being transported down, look for a wall to climb before finding an elevated path on the left side of the screen. Proceed through the hidden route and continue climbing to obtain the tool located on a desk.
