Ways to Acquire Soul Vows in Type Soul

In the RPG Type Soul, players can explore various features to develop unique builds. Each faction has distinct weapons and abilities, but some skills are accessible to everyone, albeit with a challenge to learn. This guide will explain how to acquire Soul Vows in Type Soul.

Soul Vows are passive abilities that come with specific activation criteria and effects. Acquiring them can greatly enhance the effectiveness of your character in combat.

How to Obtain Soul Vows in Type Soul

In Type Soul, most abilities are unlocked by completing specific quests and meeting various requirements. Soul Vows follow this pattern as well. If you haven’t unlocked Hell yet, prepare for a challenge. Soul Vows are obtained by defeating the Bamboo Hat Man NPC, found in the Third Circle of Hell.

To access Hell, you must achieve Bankai, Res, or Vol. Players need to undertake quests and defeat bosses from The Highway to the First and Second Circles before reaching the Third Circle. Once there, locate the Maze and search for the Bamboo Hat Man NPC.

Note that the Bamboo Hat Man is a formidable boss. Defeating him can result in receiving one of the Soul Vows in Type Soul. Additionally, players have reported that these abilities can also be acquired as rare rewards in Soul Wars and Ranked matches.

Complete List of Soul Vows

Currently, there are four different Soul Vows available in Type Soul. Each one has unique effects, allowing you to pick the one that complements your build:

Soul Vows	Description
Vow of Sacrifice	Summons a Spirit version of your character that mimics your moves and attacks, but with lower stats than yours.
Vow of Potential	Getting hit during combat results in a 15% reduction in your stats. However, actions like parrying, dodging, or dealing damage will increase your aura, which boosts all stats and, at maximum level, enhances them by 10%.
Vow of Luck	After dealing a specific amount of damage and landing an attack, you may trigger one of these effects: Jackpot – Boosts your damage by 5% Bankrupt – Depletes your Reiatsu
Vow of Fist	Upon reaching a damage threshold, you will begin to unlock the Inner Gates. Unlocking more gates increases your damage output but drains your HP simultaneously.
