In the expansive realm of Crimson Desert, players will eventually encounter the Spire of Clockwork, a pivotal location nestled within the Demeniss region. However, accessing this intriguing site is not immediate; players must progress to the mid-game to unlock its secrets. Initially, the Spire is locked, serving as a tantalizing challenge for those eager to explore. The key required to gain entry will be bestowed upon players after they successfully navigate key main quests.

To embark on this journey, it’s crucial to understand where to find the key to the Spire of Clockwork. Progressing through Chapter 8, titled «Blood Coronation,» players will face a climactic confrontation with a formidable boss. Upon conquering this challenge, players will regain control of Kliff and can venture towards the Spire, ready to tackle its complex puzzles and unlock the path to the Abyss.

Upon arrival at the Spire, located just east of Demeniss City, players must use the key acquired from Damiane to gain entry. The first task inside is to jump and pull the yellow lever directly in front of them, activating the initial mechanism of spinning gears. This will enable players to ascend via the gears to reach the second floor.

There, they will find another lever which, when activated, will further advance the intricate clockwork system aiding in their ascent. After successfully pulling the second lever, players can navigate around and climb additional gears to access the upper portions of the Spire.

Reaching these higher platforms leads to two weight tubes that come into play. Timing is essential, as players must jump from one tube to the other at just the right moment to utilize their shifting weights to reach the top of the Spire.

Once you’ve climbed to the summit, players will find a gap in the spinning dial in front of them, which will allow exit to an exterior catwalk. This path leads to a small elevator that transports them even higher, ultimately unveiling an Abyss Gate. Engaging with this gate offers players the chance to teleport to the enchanting realm of the Abyss to confront additional puzzles awaiting their expertise.

The Spire of Clockwork thus serves not just as a challenge, but as a gateway to further discovery within the captivating world of Crimson Desert.
