Unveiling the Secrets of Leveling Operators in Arknights Endfield

In the immersive world of Arknights: Endfield, players step into the shoes of the Endminstrator, a central character grappling with amnesia. Set on a perilous planet beleaguered by monstrous adversaries, your journey begins following the completion of essential tutorials that guide you through the early stages of gameplay. As you dive into your first chapter, you’ll engage in various technology restoration and combat quests alongside your teammates from Endfield Industries. An immediate realization hits: enhancing your character’s abilities is crucial for advancing through the challenges ahead.

Character progression in this action-adventure RPG mirrors familiar mechanics seen in the genre. To elevate your character’s capabilities, you’ll need to access the Operators section by tapping on an icon in the upper-right corner of your screen. Here, you can initiate the leveling process by investing Combat Records, which serve as your primary resource for gaining experience.

However, initially unlocking the Operators section requires you to complete the «Rally and Unite» quest found in Chapter 1. Once this is achieved, you can employ Combat Records, which are gained through exploring the planet Talos-Il, overcoming challenges in Protocol Space: Operator EXP rifts, or trading at the AIC Quota Exchange.

Combat Records are categorized into three types, each yielding different experience points:

  • Elementary Combat Record: Grants 200 EXP.
  • Intermediate Combat Record: Provides 1,000 EXP.
  • Advanced Combat Record: Offers a significant boost of 10,000 EXP.

It’s essential to note that while each character in Arknights: Endfield can reach a maximum level of 90, you cannot achieve this all at once. After reaching level 20, you must promote your operator to lift the level caps to 40, 60, 80, and eventually 90, and continuing to use Combat Records thereafter to increase levels normally.

Characters that reach level 20 will unlock the chance to execute Elite Promotions through the Level Up screen. Following your first promotion, subsequent upgrades will only be available once you’ve fully elevated the prior level cap and completed the necessary outfitting upgrades, a vital aspect of character enhancement in the game.

There are a total of four promotions necessary for each operator, accompanied by specific materials and costs:

  • Promotion I: Costs 8 Protodisk, 3 Pink Bolete, and 1.6k T-Creds, unlocking a level cap of 40.
  • Promotion II: Requires 25 Protodisk, 5 Red Bolete, and 6.5k T-Creds to reach level 60.
  • Promotion III: Necessitates 24 Protoset, 5 Ruby Bolete, and 18k T-Creds for a level cap of 80.
  • Promotion IV: Demands 36 Protoset, 20 Metadiastima Photoemission Tubes, 8 Bloodcap, and 100k T-Creds, taking your character to the maximum level of 90.

These outfitting upgrades, which consist of equipping higher-tier gear, effectively bolster your operators’ resilience against the onslaught of enemies, thereby enhancing overall gameplay experience. Embracing this comprehensive approach to character development serves not only to level up your operators but also heightens the excitement as you navigate the gripping narratives and intense battles within Arknights: Endfield.
