Unveiling the Thrills of Season 3: Call of Duty’s Black Ops 7 Battle Pass Takes Center Stage

Treyarch Studios has exciting news for fans of the franchise, as they officially reveal the new Battle Pass for Season 3 of «Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.» Launching on Thursday, players will soon have the opportunity to dive into either the complimentary or premium tiers of the Battle Pass. Additionally, the much-anticipated BlackCell Battle Pass variant will return, offering players a chance to earn exclusive rewards throughout the season.

Originally introduced in 2023 with «Modern Warfare 2» and «Warzone,» the BlackCell Battle Pass has sparked some debate among fans. While it offers unique items, critics have argued that its exclusive nature, requiring real currency for purchase, is paving the way for a troubling trend in the franchise’s approach to monetization. Despite including free options for gameplay-enhancing items, the increasing focus on cosmetic items behind paywalls has raised concerns. The BlackCell variant is currently priced at $29.99.

As anticipation builds ahead of the April 2 release, players can expect an abundance of new content. The Season 3 Battle Pass boasts over 100 rewards, featuring new weaponry, Operator Skins, weapon blueprints, Finishing Moves, and more. Notably, the Premium version includes a bonus of up to 1,100 COD Points, and players have the option to purchase a Battle Pass Bundle for 2,400 COD Points, which provides 20 Tier Skips to help accelerate their progress.

For those opting for the BlackCell Battle Pass, Activision promises seven exclusive Operator Skins and an equal number of Weapon Blueprints. Among the standout rewards, players will immediately unlock the «Grasp» Skin for the new Javelin Operator upon purchasing the BlackCell, alongside other themed Skins and Blueprints available as players progress through the Pass.

Season 3 promises to be a substantial update for «Call of Duty: Black Ops 7,» launching with three brand-new multiplayer maps alongside remastered classics such as Plaza from «Black Ops 2» and Gridlock from «Black Ops 4.» Additional maps are expected in a mid-season update typically released about a month following the launch. Fans are also gearing up for new weapons, game modes, and the return of the beloved Verdansk map in «Call of Duty: Warzone.»

As the community eagerly awaits, all eyes are on what promises to be one of the most thrilling seasons yet in the «Call of Duty» universe.
