Unlocking the Secrets to Finding the Perfect Tutor in The Sims 4

In the ever-evolving world of The Sims 4, managing a family while elevating a dynasty can be a challenging task. To ease this dual responsibility, players can now enlist the services of a tutor thanks to the Royalty and Legacy expansion pack, which introduces a range of helpful features including the upgrade technician and the dynasty tutor.

This article is dedicated to guiding players on how to effectively hire a tutor within the game, whether they aim to boost their children’s educational performance, enhance skills, or aid in personal development.

The first step to unlocking the tutor feature is to increase dynasty Prestige. Players need to accumulate at least 50 dynasty Perk Points and then purchase the Tutor dynasty Perk through the Social Groups panel. It’s important to note that this service is exclusive to the heads of dynasties. Once unlocked, members of the dynasty can utilize tutoring services, taking advantage of expert guidance at home.

After securing the Tutor Perk, setting up a tutoring session is straightforward. Players can simply use their Sim’s phone to select the «Hire a Service» option, where they can choose between scheduling a one-time tutor or a recurring appointment. It’s worth mentioning that while a household may include members from different dynasties, only one tutor can assist at any given time. Fortunately, the tutor will provide help to all children in the home, regardless of their family affiliation.

Tutors act as personal mentors for Sims of all ages, facilitating skill development and academic support for children and teenagers. As children tackle homework or after-school projects, tutors will autonomously engage with them to provide assistance. However, there are instances where players may need to direct their Sim to interact with the tutor for help in learning specific skills more quickly.

Upon arrival, tutors typically settle in around 3:35 PM and remain until approximately 9:45 PM, unless dispensed earlier. The hiring fee for a tutor is 100 Simoleons, alongside an additional cost of 30 Simoleons for each hour they are on-site.

In summary, incorporating a tutor into your Sim’s household can significantly enhance educational outcomes and foster growth, making gameplay more enriching and strategic in The Sims 4. With the right approach, players can effectively balance their familial and dynastic responsibilities, ensuring their Sims flourish in all aspects of life.
