The best locations to spot these winter-themed avians are the Suburban Lakes, which are large, circular water bodies located on the game map. For those unsure where to begin their search, the biggest lake near the suburban housing area serves as an ideal starting point, as it acts as a collective spawning ground for all varieties of Winter Birds.
What makes finding these birds even more enjoyable is their flexible spawning conditions, allowing players to encounter them throughout the day and in any weather as long as the event is live. If players don’t spot a Winter Bird right away, they’re encouraged to keep moving around the lake, as these creatures tend to fly off or relocate, and checking from various angles can be advantageous.
During this event, players can discover several distinct Winter Birds. Notably, the Winter Mallard, easily recognizable by its tiny hat, usually floats calmly in the water at the Suburban Lake. The Winter Greater Flamingo, sporting a scarf, is a bit more elusive and prefers to roam near the waterfall at Forest Lake or on the outskirts of the Suburban Lake. The also festive Winter Smew can be found in quieter zones of the lake, especially close to the Forest Lake Shore.

To find it, players must engage with a Birdwatching device set up by the character Bailey J. The Winter Mandarin Duck appears during the Extra Phase Photography, making it an exciting target for avid collectors.
