Changing Your Base Location in Dune Awakening

Relocating your base in Dune Awakening involves several important steps–it isn’t as simple as just picking everything up and moving. Here’s what you need to know about the base relocation process.

The process is fairly simple. As a survival game, it’s essential to be aware of the best strategies for protecting yourself from dangers, which may sometimes include establishing additional bases in other locations.

How to Relocate Your Base in Dune Awakening

Save Your Blueprint and Gather All Materials

The first step to moving your base in Dune Awakening is to create a blueprint of your existing base using the Solido Replicator. This device can be crafted using 20 Salvaged Metal at a General Fabricator.

To save your base, hold the Replicator and point it at your current structure, then left-click to capture the blueprint. When you decide to relocate on Arrakis, you can use the Replicator to place your base’s blueprint in your new location.

Keep in mind that since this only creates a blueprint, you will need to either transport your materials or gather new ones entirely. It is advisable to carry your materials, as it tends to be more efficient.

To transport materials, utilize the storage in your Sandbike. Initially, the Sandbike won’t have a lot of space, so you should research a Sandbike Inventory MK1 at the Fabricator and then attach it to your bike using the Welding Torch.

Demolish the Old Base and Reconstruct

As you prepare to leave the location of your previous base, you can demolish it. Use the Construction Tool to access the Demolish option and right-click until the mode shifts.

Point the Construction Tool at your old base and initiate the demolition. After it’s dismantled, you can abandon the area by opening the map and holding the X button while targeting your previous location.

Next, head to your new area, equip your Building Tool, and begin constructing your new base with the blueprint you saved previously. It’s recommended to choose a location with a higher difficulty level for improved resource availability and better positioning.

That covers everything you need to know about moving your base in Dune Awakening.
