Approaching him will complete this quest, and you’ll receive another challenge.

Defeat the Baron Before Daigo Enters the Portal

To take down the Baron, you’ll need a robust arsenal as this boss is formidable and uses his Double Down pistol to inflict damage. While you might think that getting closer could help avoid his shots, he can retaliate with a baseball bat, so it’s wise to maintain your distance. Focus on using ranged weapons like Assault rifles and Snipers to deplete his 700 shields.

Once you break his shields, Baron will transform into a more powerful form, becoming red and tapping into his wolf instincts. He can leap at you from afar and use his sharp claws to deal significant damage. At this stage, switching to your shotgun and SMG will be beneficial as you aim to dodge his attacks. Occasionally, he howls, which makes him more vulnerable to fire but also reveals your position to other players.

After defeating him, you can gather his Medallion and mythic weapon and witness Daigo entering the spirit realm portal. Although his previous attempt was unsuccessful, he should be better prepared to confront the demons this time.

Given that this battle occurs in a wooded area, it’s easy for opponents to ambush and eliminate you before you can succeed with the boss. Therefore, thoroughly scan your surroundings. The Baron’s howl can also aid in detecting lurking enemies to eliminate them and finish the quest. If another player defeats the boss, your quest will not be completed.

Additionally, after leaving the match, you will experience a cinematic where Big Dill and The Brat visit the Thousand Faces shop, discovering Daigo’s mask on the table. As they loot gold-related items, a mysterious shadowy figure is spotted approaching them. While details regarding this figure are scarce, it could be related to the upcoming season themed around Star Wars, set to begin after the watch party concludes.
