In the world of Black Ops 7 Zombies, players have discovered a crucial mechanic that significantly impacts their survivability: Armor Plates. These plates serve to enhance your armor, allowing you to withstand more damage when battling against the relentless undead. For players looking to gain an edge in combat, securing Armor is imperative, but this requires either scavenging for Armor Plates dropped by defeated zombies or purchasing them using Salvage at Crafting Tables.
However, players need to be cautious when replenishing their armor. The default system requires you to apply multiple Armor Plates at once, depleting your reserves even if your armor isn’t entirely gone. Fortunately, there is a way to adjust this setting, enabling a more strategic approach to armor management.
To customize the Armor Plate application settings, players can follow a straightforward series of steps. First, navigate to the in-game Settings menu. From there, select the option for Controller/Keyboard & Mouse, then proceed to the Combat section. Within this area, you will find the choice labeled Armor Plate Behavior. Here, simply change the setting to Apply One.
With this adjustment, players will only apply a single Armor Plate each time they press the Triangle (or Y) button. This allows for tactical flexibility, letting players halt the application immediately upon releasing the button. Previously, with the setting on Apply All, characters would continue to apply plates until they were empty, which was often unnecessary for minor damage.
This newly adopted feature ensures that players can manage their resources more effectively during intense encounters, providing a vital advantage in the chaotic world of Black Ops 7 Zombies. As strategies evolve, understanding these mechanics can mean the difference between life and death in the game.
