Montenegrin Counter-Strike player Pavle «Maden» Bošković has joined GamerLegion as a stand-in for the IEM Beijing 2026 Closed Qualifier. Cybersport In reports, citing HLTV, that the 27-year-old was brought in as a temporary replacement as GamerLegion prepared to compete for a place at the upcoming tournament in China.

Maden is one of the more experienced players currently available on the Counter-Strike market. The Montenegrin rifler has represented several notable organizations during his career and has accumulated extensive experience at international tournaments. Maden previously competed for teams including ENCE and Falcons.

His addition was intended to help GamerLegion during the IEM Beijing qualification campaign. However, the team ultimately forfeited its opening match of the Closed Qualifier on September 2, meaning Maden did not get the expected opportunity to help the roster in that series.

GamerLegion entered the IEM Beijing 2026 qualification process looking to secure a place at one of the major CS2 events of the autumn. The closed qualifier featured a number of European teams competing for spots at the main tournament.

For Maden, the stand-in opportunity came during another transitional period in his career. The 27-year-old has extensive Tier 1 experience and has played hundreds of maps at the highest level of professional Counter-Strike. Maden has also competed at some of the biggest international CS2 and CS tournaments.

The Montenegrin spent a significant part of his career with ENCE before later joining Falcons. His experience in international lineups has made him a familiar option for teams looking for a temporary replacement. Falcons parted ways with Maden after reshaping their Counter-Strike roster.

GamerLegion, meanwhile, has undergone several roster changes of its own over the past year. The organization continues to rebuild its lineup while attempting to maintain its position in the competitive European CS2 scene.
