Emerging talent in Counter-Strike 2, known as nocries, has announced that multiple professional teams from ESL Pro League Season 22 have made contact with him after he successfully completed his verification at FACEIT headquarters. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his journey from an anonymous player to a recognized professional contender.
In a recent interview with ESL hosts HenryG and HugoTV, the 18-year-old player from Mongolia disclosed that talks with professional organizations have already begun. «I can confirm that some teams from this tournament have reached out,» nocries shared, indicating a surge in interest following his impressive gameplay and his recent integrity verification.
On October 2, FACEIT completed a thorough three-phase investigation to confirm his legitimacy. The review, which involved monitored matches at their New York headquarters, found no indications of cheating, multi-accounting, or infractions of rules.
Throughout these evaluations, nocries excelled, averaging 23 kills per game, achieving a 1.63 K/D ratio, and a 53.4% headshot rate on FACEIT’s monitored systems. Following this, his FPL trial invitation was upgraded to an indefinite status, officially placing him among the elite competitors in North America.
When queried about his future actions within Counter-Strike, nocries demonstrated impressive determination. «I need to play some practice matches. Currently, I’m focused on training to perform at a competitive level. I aim to enhance my skills,» he stated.
His focused mentality is reminiscent of other notable prodigies, such as ropz, who also underwent FACEIT verification before finding success in Major tournaments with FaZe Clan. Nocries has made a mark in the FPL with standout performances: achieving top frags with 20 kills in his first match and 22 kills in his subsequent game. His FACEIT record showcases 4,354 ELO across 1,137 matches, highlighting a 1.51 K/D ratio that speaks volumes about his capability.
With professional opportunities emerging and his integrity formally recognized, nocries stands at the threshold of a significant breakthrough. As he continues to refine his abilities and evaluate potential offers, the young Mongolian player appears poised to rise as one of the most promising talents in the next generation of CS2 in North America.
