Top Training Locations to Master in Ashes of the Damned (BO7 Zombies)

The latest installment of Call of Duty Zombies, titled Black Ops 7 Zombies, introduces an expansive launch map known as Ashes of the Damned. This map is unique in that players must navigate various locations using vehicles like Ol’ Tessie and T.E.D.D. Ashes of the Damned features six distinct areas, each with its own advantages and disadvantages for players looking to fend off hordes of zombies. To help gamers optimize their strategies, we have evaluated each location based on the equipment available and their suitability as training spots.

Zarya Cosmodrome: A Challenging Environment

Located to the southeast of Ashwood, Zarya Cosmodrome proves to be the least favorable spot for zombie farming. Despite its connection to the Ascension map, known for its spacious training areas, Zarya offers a linear and cramped design. Players quickly find that this area is susceptible to zombie ambushes from multiple directions, exacerbated by varying elevation levels that complicate targeting. Unless your goal is to acquire specific perks like PhD Flopper or Wisp Tea, you will want to avoid this zone.

Ashwood: The Central Hub

Positioned east of Vandorn Farm, Ashwood serves a critical role within the map. This cowboy-themed town acts as a central hub, allowing players to upgrade Ol’ Tessie and access vital perks such as Jugger-Nog, Double Tap, and Vulture Aid. However, the vertical layout poses navigation challenges, making it essential for players to rely on the spacious areas outside of Tessie’s garage for effective training. Attempting to maneuver in the constricted upper sections could result in dangerous falls, so players are advised to stick to the more open spaces.

Janus Towers Plaza: Ample Space with Limited Resources

Players begin their adventure in Ashes of the Damned at Janus Towers Plaza, which offers plenty of room for movement. While it provides essential perks like Quick Revive and Der Wunderfizz, the location is somewhat bare in terms of equipment. The three open lanes make it possible to weave through zombies, but uneven ground can hinder precise headshots. Sensitive players may also want to stay clear of the fog, which poses an added threat.

Exit 115: A Tactical Retreat

Found southwest of Ashwood, Exit 115 is a quaint diner perfect for those who prefer mobility while fending off zombies. While it may not possess expansive space, it allows players to run and jump across rooftops for strategic advantages. If danger arises, players can easily find escape routes. However, it lacks significant resources, making it less ideal for long-term survival.

Blackwater Lake: The Ideal Training Ground

To the west of Janus Towers Plaza lies Blackwater Lake, a desolate winter cabin that provides excellent opportunities for zombie training. With its long lanes, players can efficiently line up zombies and cut them down in waves. While the cabin itself has limited utility, the surrounding areas are highly functional for managing hordes. Additionally, a Jump Pad is available for quick escapes back to spawn or to Ashwood.

Vandorn Farm: A Versatile Resource Hub

Finally, situated east of Janus Towers Plaza, Vandorn Farm stands out as a prime location for zombie training. Not only does it offer a plethora of resources, such as a crafting table and munitions box, but it also features spacious grounds ideal for evading zombies and securing headshots. This area is particularly advantageous in both late-game settings and at the beginning of a match, making Vandorn Farm a top choice for players looking to gain an early edge.

By carefully considering these locations in Black Ops 7 Zombies, players can enhance their gameplay experience and tackle zombie waves with increased efficiency.
