Set in Averno City during 1983, where street crime thrives, The Precinct features specific vehicles in addition to the ongoing police chases and patrols.
Various Vehicle Types in The Precinct
There are three categories of vehicles in The Precinct:
- ACPD Vehicles
- Civilian Vehicles
- Emergency Vehicles
Now, let’s explore each type.
ACPD Vehicles
| Vehicle | Required Rank |
|---|---|
| Police Cruiser | Available from the beginning |
| Police Helicopter | Available from the beginning |
| 4×4 Vehicle | Recruit 3 |
| Station Wagon | Police Officer 2 |
| Pickup Truck | Police Officer 9 |
| Riot Van | Police Officer 17 |
| Police Buzzard GTX | Police Officer 20 |
Every ACPD ground vehicle features a blue and white color scheme, complemented by red and blue emergency lights.
These vehicles display «ACPD Police» signage, closely resembling the design of police vehicles in New York City.
Civilian Vehicles
- Cobalt Stallion
- Comandeered
- Emerald Strike
- Extra Woodie
- FrostFire
- Gran Detroit Turbo
- Midnight Inferno
- Red 77
- Stampede
- The Fugitive
- The Patriot
Excluding the Comandeered, the remaining ten vehicles are considered rare within The Precinct. Locating them all unlocks the Hidden in the Hood achievement.
Emergency Vehicles
Currently, there is one emergency vehicle available for medical situations.
Like other titles such as GTA V or Mafia, all vehicles can sustain damage from collisions and gunfire, potentially leading to destruction.
As I began the game and pursued a criminal in a Police Helicopter, I noticed the health gauge gradually decreasing after I called for backup Police Cruisers.
If sufficient damage is inflicted, vehicles can catch fire, and their windows may shatter. This can be achieved by shooting at them or colliding forcefully with another vehicle.
