How to Commence the Source of Inspiration Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To initiate the Source of Inspiration quest, players should speak with Master Voyta located within Trosky Castle immediately after finishing the Sketchy Situation quest, which introduces the Brushes with Death DLC. During your discussion with him, you will discover information about the pagan god Veles’s shrine, and Voyta will express his interest in its whereabouts, mentioning an elderly woman residing north of Tachov who could possess this knowledge.

If you have previously visited Vidlák Pond, fast travel there and approach Kvyetoslava. She may struggle to recall details but will talk about Valerian flowers that someone once gathered for her.

To find five Valerian flowers for her, converse with Kvyetoslava again about their locations; she will suggest searching by the stream or in the meadow adjacent to her cottage. Begin moving north from the old woman, keeping an eye on the ground to spot patches of Valerian flowers. Collecting two bunches should suffice for your return to her.

How to Obtain the Poet’s Gut Trophy/Achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Kvyetoslava will mention a dress she used to wear, but it’s currently in poor condition and requires mending. If you possess a tailor’s kit, you can immediately repair it. If not, you will need to head to Troskowitz to have it fixed and speak with the tailor there.

The following segment of the quest, where you present the dress, is crucial since it contains a trophy/achievement that is missable for players aiming to collect them all. You will need approximately 20 Charisma and Scholarship to successfully navigate the various skill checks required for the trophy. Reading books from scribes will enhance your Scholarship, while the tailor at Troskowitz offers numerous clothing items that boost your Charisma.

Additionally, you can approach Scribe Erazim located within Trosky Castle to improve your Scholarship for a fee of 200 Groschen.

Next, converse with her and give her the repaired dress. You will face four skill checks. Avoid selecting the third option, and upon successfully completing all checks, you will earn the «Poet’s Gut» trophy/achievement.

Locating the Veles Shrine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After overcoming the skill checks, inquire again about the shrine, and she will provide you with three potential locations. Among these, two–one being the rocky hill between the ponds and the other the stream near Nebakov Fortress–are standard pagan shrines, thus you can skip visiting them. Your target is the third location: the river tributary of Lower Semine Pond.

Fast travel to Nebakov Fortress and proceed west through the forest until you reach the designated spot. Expect to encounter four bandits in the vicinity of the shrine, who you will need to confront before accessing it. You have the option to engage them all at once or, for a stealthier route, wait until 1 a.m. when they are sleeping, allowing you to quietly eliminate them one at a time using a dagger.

After dealing with the bandits, loot any valuable items from their bodies and the chest nearby, then approach the shrine. Examine the shrine to fulfill that objective, then return to Voyta to inform him and guide him there. After a cutscene concludes your interaction, the quest will be completed.
