How to Obtain Prosecutor God Rolls in Destiny 2's Rite of the Nine

The final dungeon for the Rite of the Nine event in Destiny 2, known as Prophecy, is now available. This update includes revamped versions of four dungeon weapons featuring new perk pools, Origin Traits, and Adept variants. If you’re a fan of Arc builds, be sure to track down the Prosecutor.

Prosecutor is a 450 RPM Arc auto rifle. Unlike Shadow Price, it offers a solid selection of perks. Whether you’re looking for jolt, area of effect options, or Bolt Charge, this weapon provides it all. Although the perk options are mostly consistent with its last appearance during Season of the Wish, there are a few new perks worth noting.

For PvE, you can choose between two main combinations. One features Dragonfly alongside Rolling Storm. The Dragonfly perk generates elemental explosions on precision kills, while Rolling Storm grants Bolt Charge stacks, which help in clearing enemies effectively with powerful lightning strikes. The alternate combination uses Eddy Current and Voltshot, where Eddy Current boosts reload speed after sprinting or while amplified, which complements the need to frequently reload to activate Voltshot.

Feel free to experiment with mixing the perks based on your playstyle. As you farm for the Prosecutor, consider hunting for perks like Subsistence, Onslaught, and Paracausal Affinity; while they might not offer as many advantages as others, they can still be viable options.

In terms of PvP, the Prosecutor has its merits–though it doesn’t quite dominate the meta. Auto rifles at 450 RPM aren’t currently seen as top-tier, but the previous version of Prosecutor has consistently been as reliable as the Ammit AR2.

The most effective roll remains the same as before. The Keep Away perk enhances range, reload speed, and accuracy when enemies are more than 15 meters away. Alternatively, Zen Moment can reduce recoil and flinch. Pair either option with Target Lock, which increases damage the longer you maintain aim on a target. Although it doesn’t speed up time-to-kill, it assists in achieving more precise hits.

How to obtain Prosecutor in Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine

While the original Prosecutor can always be acquired from the standard Prophecy dungeon, the new version is exclusively available during the Rite of the Nine event. You can access this dungeon via the specific node in Eternity on any difficulty level (Explorer, Eternity, or Ultimatum) to earn weapon drops.

The Rite of the Nine weapons are available in four types: base, shiny base, Adept, and shiny Adept. The shiny variants include a holofoil and come with two perks in each column. As for Adept weapons, they only drop from dungeons completed on Ultimatum difficulty.
