After completing the extensive tutorial section, players of Pokemon Legends: Z-A will have the opportunity to roam around Lumiose City at their own pace. Among the various locations they can visit is the train station featured at the start of the game, where a train heading to the airport can be found waiting on the platform.

When players try to enter the station, a prompt will appear asking if they wish to stay in Lumiose or depart. This decision will spark curiosity in some players about what would happen if they choose to leave Lumiose City, especially since the game appears to encourage them to opt for the «I’ll stay in Lumiose» choice.

What Happens if You Opt to Leave Lumiose City? (Farewell, Lumiose!)

If players decide to select the «Farewell, Lumiose!» option, the game will confirm whether they are sure about their decision, presenting the same choice again. If they choose «Farewell, Lumiose!» three times, their character will board the train, and the screen will fade to black. However, moments later, it is revealed that the player inadvertently fell asleep on a bench outside the Vert Pokemon Center and did not actually board the train. This process can be repeated endlessly, but players cannot truly exit Lumiose City in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, at least not until the release of the Mega Dimension DLC.
