LoL Patch 25.21 Updates: Comprehensive Overview of Buffs, Nerfs, and Additional Changes

Patch 25.21 will not be utilized in the ongoing international event hosted in China, yet it remains important for competitive players aiming to enhance their rankings before the season concludes.

When Is LoL Patch 25.21 Going Live?

Updates for League are typically released every Wednesday, maintaining this schedule for all upcoming patches. These updates first debut on the PBE servers, introducing new features, skins, and balance adjustments before going live. The next update is anticipated to launch on October 22. While exact release times across different regions are still to be confirmed, they are expected within these windows:

What to Expect in Patch 25.21?

Patch 25.21 introduces three new skins: Beeko, Prestige Eternal Aspect Zoe, and Mecha Kingdoms Skarner. Additionally, it includes various buffs and nerfs for champions to fine-tune the meta, as well as modifications to early-game items like Doran’s Ring and Blade.

Champion Buffs

The following champions are set to receive enhancements in League Patch 25.21:

Bard

[W] Caretaker’s Shrine

Healing AP ratio increased from 30-40% to 40-70%.
Movement speed AP ratio increased from 5% to 6%.

Ezreal

AD growth increment from 2.75 to 3.25.

Kalista

AD growth increment from 4.25 to 4.75.

Yone

Base AD raised from 60 to 62.

Yunara

[W] Arc of Judgment

Hit Damage adjusted from 5-105 to 85% of total AD to 55-215 + 85% bonus AD.
Damage per second shifted from 5-65 + 40% total AD to 33-129 + 51% bonus AD.

[E] Kanmei’s Steps: Movement speed will no longer decay.

[E and R-E] Kanmei’s Steps and Untouchable Shadow: Cooldown extended from 7.5 to 9 seconds.

[R-W] Arc of Ruin: Damage recalibrated from 50/200/350 + 175% total AD to 175/350/525 + 150% bonus AD.

Bugfix: E now loses its enhanced movement speed when turning away from foes.

Champion Nerfs

Several champions will see reductions in Patch 25.21:

Diana

[P] Moonsilver Blade: Monster Damage decreased from 300% to 280%.

Kog’Maw

[Q] Caustic Spittle: Passive attack speed reduced from 10-30% to 5-25%.

Morgana

Armor growth decreased from 5 to 4.2.

Qiyana

Health growth reduced from 124 to 121.

[Q] Edge of Ixtal: Damage cut from 70-190 (90% bonus AD) to 70-190 (85% bonus AD).

Quinn

[Q] Blinding Assault: Bonus AD ratio trimmed from 8-120% to 80-100%.

[R] Behind Enemy Lines: Damage reduced from 70% total AD to 60/90/120 (85% bonus AD).

Champion Adjustments

The following champions are also receiving adjustments in League Patch 25.21:

Dr. Mundo

Armor growth increased from 3.7 to 4.5.

[E] Blunt Force Trauma: Active bonus HP ratio reduced from 7% to 5%.

Graves

Base magic resist lowered from 32-66.85 to 30-52.1.

[E] Quickdraw: Active magic resist per stack switched from zero to 50% of armor, ranging from 2-8 (maximum 16-64).

Gwen

Reverted to the 25.05 champion model without the armor growth and passive monster damage; these stats remain unchanged.

Skarner

Adjustments will be included in the next patch.

System Nerfs

Catalyst of Aeons

Health reduced from 350 to 300.

Second Wind

Healing after damage decreased from 4% missing health + 3 to just 4% missing health.

Doran’s Shield

Max healing post-damage reduced from 45 (melee) or 30 (ranged) to 40 (melee) or 30 (ranged).

System Adjustments

Doran’s Blade

Life steal feature removed.
New passive: Heal for 2.5% of damage dealt (reduced to 33% for area-effect spells and pet abilities).

Doran’s Ring

Mana regeneration altered from 1.25 per second to 1 per second, a boost to 2 per second for five seconds after hitting an enemy champion.
Health regeneration adjusted from 0.55 per second to 45% of that value.
