Complete Guide to All Shrine Climb Spots in Ghost of Yotei

Shrine Climbs are among the more time-consuming collectibles in Ghost of Yotei, as each individual climb can last between four to seven minutes, influenced by how quickly players can determine the next steps. In total, there are 13 Shrine Climbs throughout the game, all of which are relatively easy to find and complete.

Each shrine entrance is marked by several Torii gates, which players can spot from a distance, guiding them to their destination. These climbs are also tied to one of the more challenging trophies within the game. The following guide provides their locations and the charms that can be obtained at each shrine in Ghost of Yotei.

Fall’s Rest Shrine	Charm of Kanayago	This shrine is positioned northeast of Shirage Falls, in the southern part of the area. It’s relatively straightforward to climb and offers the Charm of Kanayago. This charm increases the quantity of both common and rare metals and black powder collected during exploration.
Blooming Ridge Shrine	Charm of Amenowakahiko	Located directly beneath the Serpent’s Pass to the northeast of the region, this climb is on the path towards the Tokachi Range.
Mount Yotei Shrine	Mother’s Charm Father’s Charm	To the west of the Yotei River, a route leads to the Mount Yotei Shrine entrance. It takes you right to the summit of Mount Yotei, where two charms and an Altar of Reflection can be found. This area also concludes the mythic tale of Takezo the Unrivalled.

By engaging with all the shrines at the Shrine Climbs, you will earn the Golden Mask, a nod to Higgs’ mask from Death Stranding. This accomplishment will also bring you closer to attaining the Body, Mind, and Spirit trophy.

Similar to Ghost of Tsushima, masks serve as purely cosmetic items with no functional benefits, so the Golden Mask is solely for aesthetic purposes.
