Hat of Curiosity

This is located in the southernmost part of the region, close to the Southern Coast. If you have finished «Takezo the Unrivalled» (Mythic Tale), the Coastal Duelling Tree will be accessible for Fast Travel on your map.

Headband of Loss

This Sumi-e artwork is positioned on a rocky ledge to the right of the Shikotsu River. The platform is adorned with purple flowers, making it easily identifiable from afar.

Headband of Yotei

This location is north of the Maw of the Serpent, not far from the Blooming Ridge Shrine. You will be required to paint Mount Yotei to obtain the headband.

Hat of Youth

To find this Sumi-e artwork, head to the southern side of Lake Jozan where the mat is located on top of a ledge.

Headband of Defiance

This location is adjacent to Otaru Beach, situated southwest in the area. When you arrive, you will notice two towering stone columns that you need to climb to reach the top where the mat is located. The artwork will depict Mount Yotei, which is visible in the distance.

Headband of Fortitude

This Sumi-e artwork can be located south of the Rumoi River, near the Crimson Dye Beach.

Hat of Messengers

To find this artwork, you’ll need to ride your horse east of Nakagoya Spring. It is located close to the Abandoned Fishing Camp near the waterfall.

Mask of Freedom

This artwork is located above the Ohara Plains, to the east of Dead Man’s Tree, where you can also find Taro who operates his shop. The painting mat is positioned beside a lone tree.

Headband of the Seasons

You can find this Sumi-e artwork located below the Tomamu Marshlands on the map, in the southeast region.

Mask of Community

You need to ascend to the right of Niptay Mountain, where some climbing is required to reach the top. At this location, you will find the mat to paint.

Headband of Tranquility

This artwork is located east of Nayoro Falls, right next to the Iwor Woods. Here, you will be painting the Ainu while they work.

Mask of Slumber

To complete this artwork, head west of the Teshio River on the map. If you have progressed through the Kitsune’s storyline and accessed the Black Dye House, you can utilize fast travel to reach this spot to find it on a ledge beside the frozen lake.

Headband of the Wild

This artwork can be found west of Sentinel Forest, near the center of the area. This location is directly below the Enduring Hold Shrine on the map. Expect some freezing areas along the journey, so it’s advisable to equip Taro’s armor which significantly reduces Fire and Cold damage at maximum level. This will help make your travels in this region much easier.

Mask of Remembrance

After progressing through the Saito Brothers’ questline, you will unlock access to Oshima Coast. Head north of the Atago Rice Fields to find this painting mat next to a grove of cherry blossom trees. You will be painting the elegant cranes found nearby the ponds.

Hat of Refinement

As you advance in quests around this area, visit Matsumae Castle where the storyline continues. In the courtyard south of the castle, you will find a mat to draw the castle’s image from a distance.
