Will Michonne endure in the Entity’s realm?
Rick and Michonne Grimes have finally made their appearance in Dead By Daylight, each bringing along three distinctive perks. These protagonists from The Walking Dead excel at dealing with various adversaries, whether they are living or undead. Let’s delve into the particulars of Michonne’s perks.
Michonne’s Perks in Dead By Daylight
Even though Michonne doesn’t have her iconic katana in the Entity’s domain, she possesses the skills to fend for herself. Her protective nature towards her teammates is reflected in her perks.
- Last Stand – This perk activates after remaining within the Killer’s terror radius without being pursued for 80/70/60 seconds. Once triggered, executing a rushed vault action stuns the Killer for 3 seconds if they are within 2.5 meters. It can only be activated once, after which it is disabled for the remainder of the trial.
- Teamwork: Throw Down – This perk is triggered when you blind or pallet-stun the Killer. It grants endurance status to all injured Survivors within 24 meters of you for 6/8/10 seconds, allowing them to see the Killer’s aura for 10 seconds as well.
- Conviction – While in the dying state, after healing another Survivor by one health state, this perk activates. By pressing the active ability button after reaching at least 25% recovery progress, you instantly recover. However, this causes the broken status and forces you back into the dying state automatically after 20/25/30 seconds.
Optimal Last Stand Build
To maximize the effectiveness of the perk Last Stand, consider integrating additional stun perks to create significant disruption for the Killer. Since activating this perk requires you to be in the Killer’s terror radius, perks like Iron Will, Quick & Quiet, or Urban Evasion could be advantageous. Furthermore, Last Stand synergizes well with Michonne’s other perk, Teamwork: Throw Down, especially during the end-game collapse when facing No One Escapes Death.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Last Stand | Perform a rushed vault to stun the Killer for 3 seconds. |
| Decisive Strike | This perk activates after being unhooked and deactivates upon performing a conspicuous action. After being picked up, execute a skill check to stun the Killer. |
| Head On | Activate after hiding in a locker for 3 seconds to stun the Killer upon exiting. |
| Quick & Quiet | Rushed actions are silent. This perk has a 20-second cooldown. |
| Optional alternatives: | Iron Will silences noise and grunts made while in the terror radius. Urban Evasion allows for faster crouch walking, facilitating evasion. |
Best Teamwork: Throw Down Build
The Teamwork: Throw Down perk assists other Survivors in evading the Killer while you serve as both a distraction and support. Pairing it with an item that can blind the Killer would be advantageous. Various means exist to blind the Killer in Dead By Daylight, such as flashlights or firecrackers, which do not require a perk to use. Perks like Flashbang or Blast Mine also serve as useful options. Teamwork: Throw Down is particularly effective in end-game scenarios when everyone is rushing towards the Exit Gates.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Teamwork: Throw Down | By blinding or pallet-stunning the Killer, nearby Survivors gain endurance, rendering them invulnerable for up to 10 seconds. |
| Windows of Opportunity | See the auras of all windows and pallets nearby. |
| Bond | See the aura of nearby Survivors. |
| Flashbang | After repairing a generator for a duration, you can enter a locker and create a Flashbang grenade to blind the Killer. |
| Item: Flashlight | Utilize to blind the Killer when at a window or pallet, or during the rescue of a Survivor. |
Best Conviction Build
Conviction can be activated multiple times in a trial but necessitates healing another Survivor first. Once used, you need to heal another Survivor for the perk to activate again. Thus, employing a speedy med kit or healing perks like We’ll Make It can enhance your effectiveness. During our gameplay experience, Conviction pairs particularly well with Nicholas Cage’s perk Plot Twist, where you can down yourself, recover fully, and end up healed. Any nerfs after the chapter’s official release could lead us to adjust our builds as needed.
| Perk | Description |
|---|---|
| Conviction | After healing another Survivor fully, this allows you to recover from the dying state with 25% recovery progress. You will automatically go down again after 30 seconds. |
| We’ll Make It | Facilitates quick healing of another Survivor after unhooking. |
| Plot Twist | Instead of being downed by Conviction, use Plot Twist to down yourself and heal fully after recovery. |
| Unbreakable | Accelerates your recovery from the dying state. |
| Optional: Tenacity |
Allows simultaneous crawling and recovery. |
