Midnite Secures $100 Million in Credit to Propel iGaming Growth in the U.K.

Midnite, a prominent player in the betting sector, has secured up to $100 million in credit financing from the House Advantage Fund (HAF) to propel its growth in the iGaming market in the United Kingdom.

This capital injection will enable Midnite to enhance its user acquisition efforts while keeping its cash reserves intact for broader investment opportunities. This funding structure, unlike conventional venture capital or debt financing, avoids equity dilution and offers enhanced operational flexibility.

The revolving credit facility is supported by Discerning Capital, a firm that specializes in growth funding for regulated gaming, along with Singapore-based PvX Capital, which focuses on user acquisition financing for consumer applications.

«This collaboration empowers us to significantly increase our performance and brand marketing initiatives while conserving cash for innovation and growth,» stated Nicholas Wright, CEO of Midnite.

«The adaptability of the House Advantage structure allows us to pursue our long-term goals with increased confidence and fewer compromises. The confidence that our team has in our direction at Midnite drives us to aim for sustained growth and successfully execute our strategy to transform the gaming sector for the better,» Wright further explained.

Midnite poised for U.K. expansion following funding boost

The funds will be allocated to amplify marketing strategies, grow its workforce, and enhance its product offerings beyond its existing diverse sportsbook and top-tier casino, while also maintaining a strategic cash buffer.

This financing agreement comes on the heels of Midnite’s $10 million Series B funding round in April 2025, which was led by Discerning Capital, The Raine Group, and Play Ventures, with additional contributions from Venrex and Big Bets. This round has raised the company’s total equity to over $35 million.

Founded in 2018 by Wright and Daniel Qu, Midnite initially entered the market as a sports betting operator before expanding into horse racing and casino offerings in 2023.

The company has experienced significant growth, doubling its workforce in the last year, and is now aiming for tier-one status within the competitive U.K. online gaming landscape. Additionally, it maintains a strong emphasis on esports, with offerings in CS2, Dota 2, and League of Legends.

Davis Catlin, Managing Partner at Discerning Capital, noted that this credit facility represents a new paradigm in financing innovative betting operators like Midnite.

«For years, the expansion potential of online betting operators has been limited by the constraints of traditional venture capital or credit sources, which are difficult to access in the broader gaming ecosystem. By linking capital deployment to actual marketing success, we enable a sustainable and significant scale without imposing unnecessary equity dilution or burdensome repayment terms,» Catlin added.

With this new credit and a strategic expansion plan in place, Midnite is positioning itself as a formidable contender in the U.K. iGaming sector, utilizing flexible financing to drive growth while adhering to a long-term vision.
