Upon entering Act 2 of Silksong, players may discover a locked door in the Choral Chambers located right above the Grand Bellway at the bottom-right section of the area. A conspicuous golden lever can be spotted through this locked entry, but unfortunately, Hornet cannot access it from this side.

To gain entry, players will need to take a longer route, navigating through several challenging zones in order to reach the Stage door. What Awaits Behind the Locked Door in Choral Chambers?

Gain Access to The Stage in Silksong

The locked door situated just above the Grand Bellway in the Choral Chambers is the entrance to The Stage. A nearby sign reveals that this entertaining locale is the domain of the renowned actor Trobbio, who wishes to elevate the spirit of this magnificent land through his performance.

Defeating Trobbio allows Hornet to safely access the Whispering Vaults and the upper-right area of the Underworks, as the Grand Bellway bench is conveniently located beneath this room. Though the lever to open the Stage door is within sight, Hornet is unable to reach it from the Choral Chambers.

Steps to Unlock the Choral Chambers Stage Door

How to Reach Trobbio in Silksong

To unlock the Stage Door and face Trobbio, Silksong players need to enter the Whispering Vaults and approach the boss room from the right side.

1. Start from the Cogwork Dancers’ boss arena (where the ancient statues can be found after defeating the boss) and head down into the Cogwork Core.
2. Navigate cautiously to the right side of this room. If you haven’t unlocked the shortcut, you’ll need to descend all the way down, then travel around the bottom of the central wall to get to the opposite side.
3. Continue to the right, bouncing on gears until you enter a room with a lever. This enormous wheel-gate connects the upper area of the Choral Chambers to the Bellway region below–activate the lever to turn it horizontal, and then proceed to the right into the Whispering Vaults.
4. Break boxes to move them along the tracks in the background to access the next room on the right.
5. This room is expansive and convoluted. Your objective is an exit on the left side, about two-thirds down (as indicated on the accompanying map). Maneuver past flame-spewing enemies, large armored creatures, and quick-striking foes while solving box puzzles to reach this exit.
6. After reaching the left side, drop down into the upper part of The Stage, which you’ll notice below as you continue left.

At the end of this corridor, drop down to find yourself near the door. Refrain from entering the boss arena just yet–instead, activate the lever to unlock the Stage door in Silksong, and then return to the Grand Bellway to sit on the bench and set your respawn point.

If you do not return to the Grand Bellway bench prior to confronting Trobbio, and if you have activated any bench along your route through the Cogwork Core or Whispering Vaults, be prepared for a significantly longer journey back to the boss room in the event of defeat.
