The manor is a captivating structure encountered in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Players first discover it during the main storyline when the expedition team members become scattered. Lune and Gustave stumble upon it and opt to investigate, seeking potential answers.

Inside, they will encounter a figure known as the Curator, who had rescued Maelle and housed her within the manor’s walls. As players explore the manor, they quickly discover that all entrances are locked and unapproachable. To unlock each door, players must locate the manor doors in Expedition 33, which are dispersed throughout The Continent, in order to unveil every hidden secret.

Locations of All Manor Doors in Expedition 33

In addition to the manor’s two secret rooms, players can uncover a total of 11 doors scattered across The Continent, with the last door requiring a special item to access.

Manor Door #1 – Gestral Village

Your journey to find the first manor door begins at Gestral Village. From the entrance, take a right until you reach a Turn Back sign.

To solve the puzzle, interact with three designated items, then enter the trapdoor to access another area. Avoid disturbing the sleeping Gestral and instead collect the Shape of Energy located by the stairs. Afterward, break the crates to unveil a secret passage. Engage with the red item to acquire the Rebellious Hairstyle for Maelle.

Further along, there will be a disorganized room containing a photo of the Sandfall Interactive team. The locked door here can be opened with another manor key. Ascend the prior staircase to enter the kitchen, then exit through the other door, leading to the manor’s ground level.

Secret Room #1 – Dining Room

Before progressing, ensure to visit the dining room where you can uncover the first manor secret in Expedition 33. Four switches await interaction to reveal a secret chamber.

Switch 1

Upon entering, look to your right to find the first switch.

Switch 2

In the last column on the right side of the dining room, the second switch is waiting for you.

Switch 3

To find the third switch, head to the left side of the room, opposite the previous switch, where it’s located on the wall near the column.

Switch 4

Approaching the area’s seating and fireplace, interact with the last switch located above a marked square on the wall, which serves as the hidden entrance to the secret room.

Enter this secret room to collect the Nocturne Pour Un Masque De Tristesse music record during Expedition 33.

Secret Room #2 – Monoco Room

Return to the main staircase and head to the left wing on the second floor. Ascend the stairs to find a larger painting lower than the others. Pass through it to access Monoco’s room, filled with dog toys and a painting depicting a dog. Collect the Shape of Life before exiting.

Manor Door #2 – Stone Wave Cliffs

Travel to the Stone Wave Cliffs, teleport to the Tide Caverns expedition flag, turn around, and grapple across. Proceed downward, sticking to the right until you see a slope decorated with bright lamps leading downward. Use the rope to descend and defeat the Gold Chevaliere boss found in Expedition 33.

The manor door lies behind the boss. Inside, open the closet to find the Skirt Outfit for Maelle.

Manor Door #3 – The Continent

While exploring The Continent, head northwest from the Stone Wave Cliffs to spot an island. Use Esquie’s ability to open the manor door revealing the library. Proceed upstairs and adjust the stack of books to uncover a hidden office containing the Civilian Outfit for Verso. Collect the Shape of Energy, and exit to find yourself in the cluttered room where you previously discovered the team photo.

Manor Door #4 – Old Lumiere

Travel to Old Lumiere and approach the Manor Gardens expedition flag. Turn left and pass through a crack in the wall to find the manor door. Acquire the Renoir music record located in the bathroom, then exit to read the Renoir Journal found in the bedroom.

Manor Door #5 – Falling Leaves

Swim towards the Falling Leaves area and reach the Resinveil Grove expedition flag, the first one you encounter. Move forward, turn right to descend a rope, and keep going until you locate the manor door beside the Lady of Sap. Inside, players will discover the Alicia music record. Exiting this door leads to the room where Maelle was discovered at the beginning of Expedition 33.

Manor Door #6 – Visages

Once you’ve unlocked Visages in Expedition 33, proceed to the Anger Vale expedition flag and locate the small cave positioned to your right. Open the manor door here to access a playroom featuring a piano. Retrieve the Verso music record and exit to find an Unknown Journal situated atop a chest in the adjacent bedroom.

Manor Door #7 – Sirene

Fast travel to the Sewing Atelier expedition flag within Sirene. Move to the right and grapple to the other side where a man will appear in the middle. Locate the nearby manor door and enter. The bathroom might seem empty, but it conceals a secret. Attack or shoot the mirror to unveil a secret room and proceed inside to collect the Shape of Health. Exit to return near the manor’s entrance.

Manor Door #8 – Inside The Monolith

From the Inside the Monolith area, go to the Tainted Battlefield expedition flag, then continue until reaching a wooden gate to the left. Walk further to discover a grave with Gustave’s arm on it. Turn left to find the manor door at the end of the path. Collect the L’amour D’une Mere music record and read Aline’s Journal located in the greenhouse.

Manor Door #9 – The Reacher

After successfully unlocking The Reacher via Esquie’s flying ability, head to the Ladder Area expedition flag. Go right and drop down to the lowest level to find the manor door, which leads into a room containing an Unknown Journal.

Manor Door #10 – The Continent

As you traverse The Continent, make your way southeast from the Stone Wave Cliffs Cave towards an island. Open the closet present in a hidden room filled with enemy statues to discover the Forlorn music record.

Manor Door #11 – Frozen Hearts

From the Glacial Falls expedition flag in the Frozen Hearts region, walk along the narrow path filled with icicles and grapple to the opposite side. Descend via the rope to confront the Chromatic Veilleur boss in Expedition 33. You can either outrun the boss to the manor door or defeat it. Once partway inside, head to the bedroom to collect the Clea! Don’t Pull Your Sister’s Hair! music record.

Manor Door #12 – The Canvas

The Canvas can be found southwest of The Monolith. Enter the area and interact with the Dessendre Family Portrait to obtain it as a quest item in Expedition 33. Return to the manor using any of the previously discovered doors and approach the empty frame at the top of the stairs on the right. Place the Dessendre Family Portrait inside to unlock the final door at the end of the dining room, revealing an Unknown Journal and the Painted Me Outfit for Maelle.
