Steps to Unlock Sadness in DDV – Disney Dreamlight Valley
To bring Sadness to the village, players must finish the Get Up And Glow quest in DDV. Head back to the Inside Out Realm and have a chat with Sadness to kick off the quest. She indicates that further exploration into the Long Term Memory is necessary to assist Riley. Proceed to engage with the emotion again to determine the next task, which involves gathering the Pop Concert Musical Memories.
These memories are scattered on shelves, while some are concealed behind puzzles in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Therefore, it’s important to understand how to solve the puzzles to successfully complete the quest.

Location of Pop Concert Musical Memory #1
After breaking the initial set of stones, approach the shelves on the left side to retrieve the first Pop Concert Musical Memory.

Continue onward to find two blocked paths due to routing control puzzles in DDV. Take the left path, and you’ll spot the second memory on a shelf to your right.

Turn around and head to the routing controls on the right, as the left lacks a button. Break the rock and solve the puzzle by pressing the center console, then the one on the right to unlock a new path. Move forward to obtain a Pop Concert Musical Memory along with the missing red button from one of the rocks.

Return the button to its routing control console and follow these steps to complete the puzzle: press the center button first, then the left side, and finally the right side. Enter the area to collect the fourth musical memory.
Engage with Sadness, who directs players to the Recall Tube where the memories are to be placed and sent to headquarters. Now that everything is set, return to the Dream Production set for a new approach.
Sadness requests players to embellish the stage with six items from the pop concert theme and to wear a Bold outfit. For the required items, collect two speakers, two lights, a DJ station, and a small red cannon. Choose any attire that fits the theme, and use the mic to conclude the day.
Speak to Sadness after arranging everything, and she’ll inform you that all went smoothly. You can now invite Sadness to the valley, thereby completing the Get Up And Glow quest in DDV.
