Ranking the Best Operators in the Delta Force Tier List

Delta Force includes a roster of 11 unique operators that can be utilized in both Operations and Warfare game modes. Each operator is categorized into one of four classes and possesses distinct abilities that can significantly influence the outcome of a conflict.

Here is a breakdown of the top operators in Delta Force suitable for both game modes.

Operator Tier List for Delta Force

Tier Operations Warfare
S-Tier Stinger, Shepherd, Luna D-Wolf, Stinger, Uluru, Luna
A-Tier D-Wolf, Vyron, Toxik, Hackclaw Vyron, Toxik, Tempest
B-Tier Uluru, Nox, Tempest Nox, Shepherd
C-Tier Sineva Sineva, Hackclaw

As Delta Force consists of two distinctly different modes, an operator that excels in Warfare may not be as effective in Operations, and vice versa. Be sure to assess each operator’s abilities closely to optimize their potential during gameplay.

D-Wolf

It’s all in the wrist.

D-Wolf is a versatile assault operator designed to unleash your potential on the battlefield with his Tactical Slide passive ability. He provides an excellent combination of speed, firepower, and strategic gameplay, allowing you to put pressure on adversaries.

In Operations, he pairs well with supportive operators like Stinger and Luna. D-Wolf can hold his ground effectively, although being overly aggressive at times may not be advisable.

Vyron

Don’t worry about fall damage.

Vyron comes off as a slightly less powerful version of D-Wolf. His enhanced movement speed and Dynamic Propulsion offer great agility, provided you can maintain momentum and secure kills. However, mastering the timing for the QLL32 Crouching Tiger can be challenging compared to D-Wolf’s Motorized Exoskeleton.

While Vyron is still a strong choice in Warfare, he does not consistently add value in Operations, especially when played solo. His mechanical skill requirements place him just slightly behind D-Wolf.

Stinger

Everyone gets a heal.

Stinger serves as the medic of Delta Force. His Hive-Tech Pistol enables him to heal himself and nearby allies while quickly reviving downed teammates. He also possesses smokes to obstruct the vision of enemies.

In Warfare, Stinger is a fantastic support character, effectively using smokes and quick revives. Although his Hive-Tech Pistol lacks firepower in Operations, it can still prove useful for recovering health and returning to the action faster than traditional healing methods.

Negative Effects:

Stinger negates negative HP effects in Operations when reviving teammates.

Nox

Stay quiet.

Nox is unique among assault operators as he does not possess a dedicated mobility ability. Instead, he focuses on a stealth approach with his Silent Assault and Deep Trauma passive abilities. While effective in Warfare, Nox can feel sluggish amidst the rapid pace of battle.

In Operations, he relies on the tactical use of Silent Assault, which demands a high level of awareness. His Whirlwind Disc can hinder enemy advances, but so do D-Wolf’s grenades, which are often easier to utilize.

Tempest

In and out in 15 seconds.

If speed is your priority, Tempest is an ideal operator. Her Combat Roll and Auxiliary Surge Spine keep her consistently on the go, while her Emergency Evasion Device serves as a vital escape tool when faced with lethal damage.

Her only drawback is her limited firepower, as her Drill Charge is situational and not usable for consistent damage, unlike D-Wolf’s grenades. In Warfare, the action–roll approach is enjoyable, while in Operations, precision becomes a greater factor.

Toxik

I was expecting poison.

In contrast to Stinger, Toxik specializes in enhancing allies and weakening foes rather than healing. Her Adreno-Boost and Dragonfly abilities enhance weapon handling and minimize flinch. While this buff isn’t the strongest, it enhances shooting comfort, especially in Warfare, where she can frequently deploy it.

Limited smoke options require careful reviving strategies, but Toxik still excels in Warfare. Dragonfly inhibits enemies and lowers their maximum HP, providing a strategic advantage. However, the short range of Dragonfly can be less effective in Operations.

Shepherd

Cover your ears.

Shepherd is recognized as the initial Engineer of the game. His Sonic Trap and Sonic Paralysis abilities are effective for hindering opponents. The trap can secure flanks or counter enemy pushes, while Sonic Paralysis is beneficial for controlling the pace of engagements in Warfare.

In Operations, Shepherd thrives with cooperative teammates, and his Engineer passive allows for wire cutting in specific areas to create shortcuts, contingent on the mission objectives.

Uluru

Uncontrolled demolition.

Uluru demonstrates a strong emphasis on destruction with his focus on explosives and demolitions. His Loitering Munition can efficiently disable vehicles in Warfare when paired with a suitable launcher, while Composite Incendiary effectively manages narrow paths.

His utilities may be used less frequently in Operations, though he remains valuable. His Quickest Cover ability facilitates new angles during firefights, coupled with enhanced resistance to slowing effects.

Sineva

Get over here.

Sineva possesses a unique but situational set of skills. His Grapple Gun allows for pulling in either enemies or downed allies, while the EOD Set serves as a defensive shield. Despite their entertaining nature, these abilities necessitate better teamwork to be effectively executed.

Using the Grapple Gun offensively can be hazardous unless executed in concealed areas, and generally, it’s more logical to recover fallen teammates unless paired with a medic. Simultaneously, the EOD Set is significantly reliant on support, as it hampers mobility and weapon use.

Luna

Aim true.

Luna stands out as one of the most powerful operators in Delta Force, equipped with abilities to reveal enemy positions. Her passive trait marks enemies she damages, while her Detection Arrow provides insights into enemy locations along its flight path. These features prove useful in both Warfare and Operations, and her combination of utility and damage capabilities with the Volt Arrow and Frag Grenade is well-balanced.

As a recon operator, Luna can leverage recon stations scattered throughout the Operations map to assess extraction points and threats.

Hackclaw

I’ve seen this one before.

Fair to her name, Hackclaw utilizes her abilities to sabotage enemies. The Signal Decoder can uncover positions of up to three enemy operators using ground markings, alerting them of your approach. Coupling this with her Flash Drone allows for tracking threats effectively.

Hackclaw excels at stealth in Operations, particularly with her Silent Step ability that minimizes noise when crouching. Although her ultimate may reveal her presence, it can be vital for exposing enemies under fire.

However, stealth may not be required in Warfare. Her Flash Drone becomes the main utility, often necessitating close-range engagement with assault rifles as opposed to long-range options.
