This item can only be utilized at specific locations, with one being situated inside Shu Sanctum on the second floor. Since other items can restore smaller amounts of madness, it is advisable to save the Divine Gift for when your madness has reached its peak.

You have the option to eliminate your madness by perishing at the hands of a random enemy, not within a boss area, which will trigger the spawning of an inner demon at your death site. You can either defeat this creature or succumb to it, both actions resulting in the dispelling of your madness.
