In Titan Quest 2, many primary and secondary quests are clearly indicated on the map, facilitating their completion and serving as excellent sources for both common and rare items. However, some side quests lack specificity and provide minimal guidance or exact locations, even though they are still beneficial to pursue.
Engaging in quests is one of the most effective methods for rapid leveling up, making it often more advantageous to locate a quest objective rather than simply battling random foes for experience points. For instance, the quest entitled Missing Cows features an early segment that requires players to track down some lost cows; here’s how to find them.
Locating the Missing Cows in Titan Quest 2
Issa will inform you that the cows have wandered off from their pens and headed south. There are several pathways leading southward from the Enclave. Start at the waypoint in the Enclave and take the right-hand path south. Follow the main road past another part of the enclave filled with refugees, and take the second opening leading down into the grass toward the swamp.
Proceed through the swamp heading south, and you’ll encounter two cows that have unfortunately met their end, but no action is required with them. The pathway is somewhat constrained, and ultimately you will find the three cows calmly standing around. Interact with them to guide them back as you make your way to Stolos to proceed with the quest.
Completing Missing Cows & Quest Rewards in Titan Quest 2
Once you’ve returned the cows to Stolos, additional details about the feud will be revealed, and you’ll be tasked with locating Old Man Thon, who can be found southeast of the Enclave. A small area will be marked on your map to assist you in locating him, but the center of that area is where he can be found. Following this, the final steps of the quest are straightforward:
- Return to Issa
- Agree to accompany the group to talk with Stolos
- Hand Stolos the potion
Upon completing these tasks, the Missing Cows quest will conclude, awarding you 3,962 XP to advance your level, and a sense of resolution for the Enclave, though no unique items or gear are granted as part of the completion.
