ESIC and ggCircuit Launch Innovative Certification System for Esports Venues

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has partnered with ggCircuit to create the first certified esports venue infrastructure in the world. This groundbreaking collaboration was formalized during a signing ceremony at the recent Global Esports Industry Week.

This partnership merges ESIC’s esteemed integrity framework with ggCircuit’s venue management technologies, a subsidiary of the esports and online gambling firm Esports Entertainment Group.

The objective is to establish a uniform certification system focused on integrity for esports venues globally. Venues that fulfill rigorous standards will be designated as «Officially Certified Esports Venues.» These certified sites will be recognized as secure and competitive spaces, well-suited for hosting premier esports tournaments with an emphasis on trust and transparency.

The certification program will utilize ggCircuit’s range of innovative technologies, including ggLeap software, ggRock software, and ggRock hardware, all governed under ESIC’s extensive integrity guidelines.

The initiative is designed to offer esports participants a trustworthy network of integrity-aligned venues suitable for hosting qualifiers, tournaments, and various competitive events. Venues will follow a structured, multi-phase deployment process to obtain and retain certification globally.

«A worldwide network of ESIC-certified venues represents a significant opportunity to ground esports in settings that emphasize fairness, safety, and responsibility,» stated ESIC CEO Stephen Hanna. «By merging ESIC’s integrity proficiency with ggCircuit’s technology and venue network, we are pleased to pioneer the first truly integrity-centered global venue framework.»

David Williams, Senior Vice President of ggCircuit, also highlighted the partnership’s transformative potential. «Incorporating ESIC’s integrity training and accreditation program within ggCircuit’s leading platform allows gaming venues to conduct professional-quality tournaments while also giving publishers and tournament operators access to a worldwide network of local venues for leagues and sponsored competitions.»

The ESIC-ggCircuit partnership will continue to develop throughout the year, with an increasing number of venues obtaining certification. As the network expands, it aims to provide a dependable environment for tournament organizers, publishers, players, fans, and esports bettors involved in both local and international competitions.

ESIC primarily concentrates on games with established competitive frameworks that feature organized tournaments and professional leagues. Its regulatory reach includes some of the industry’s most prominent titles, such as CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, VALORANT, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
