Unlocking and Changing Skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

Survival has never been more stylish.

In Elden Ring Nightreign, players can equip skins for their Nightfarer classes, but the game lacks clear indications on how to change or acquire new cosmetics. This can make it difficult for players to personalize their characters with available skins, leading some to unintentionally use their resources on different items.

Below is a comprehensive guide on everything related to skins in Elden Ring Nightreign.

How to Obtain Skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

This NPC will grant you access to the dresser for your skins.

To acquire skins in Elden Ring Nightreign, you must engage in Expeditions and defeat the final bosses after the gathering circle shrinks. On the third day of the Tricephalos expedition, you’ll encounter the formidable Gladius, Beast of Night. Upon defeating him, you’ll receive the Old Pocketwatch needed to unlock the Duchess class.

Next, initiate the Gaping Jaw expedition. On the third day, face the Adel, Baron of Night, who is the second Night Lord you will confront. Once you defeat him, you will return to the Roundtable Hold with your rewards. A cutscene will trigger, where an NPC discusses dresses, indicating that you’ve successfully unlocked the skins for the Nightfarer classes you’ve accessed in the game.

How to Modify Skins in Elden Ring Nightreign

Here’s where you can change your skins.

After unlocking the skins, head to the dresser located in the Roundtable Hold by taking the left path towards the east until you reach the room with the fireplace. Alternatively, you can press M to open the map and select the ‘change garb’ option on the left to teleport right in front of the mirror near the fireplace. You can now interact with it to view the skins available for each character in the game.

To purchase skins, you will need to use a currency called Murk. Currently, each class has two skins available, with potential additions planned for future DLCs. Upon your first use of the dresser to alter attire, you will earn the Dresser achievement.
