In the Disney Dreamlight Valley, players known as Dreamers must navigate through the challenges set by three fairies in the Ink-Stained World quest. These tasks are designed to be intellectually stimulating and will push players to their limits as they strive to complete them and earn valuable rewards.
How to Initiate the Ink-Stained World Quest in DDV
The Ink-Stained World quest in DDV begins automatically after the completion of the A Hero of Ink and Paper quest. Players will need to talk to the Lorekeeper, who instructs them to interact with the tapestry behind her to start the search for Princess Aurora. After entering the Storybook World, players must locate the back room to advance, only to discover that the door is locked. To proceed, interact with the three enchanted stained-glass windows for guidance.
After introducing themselves as the good fairies who once cared for Princess Aurora, they will request that you complete three trials to obtain three significant items: The Shield of Virtue, the Sword of Truth, and the Cap of Song. These items were originally given to Prince Philip to assist in saving Aurora, and they will be of great help in the forthcoming challenges.
How to Successfully Complete All the Trials in DDV
To finish the Ink-Stained World quest, Dreamers must undertake a trial presented by each fairy in DDV, aimed at testing their bravery, kindness, and intelligence. The three trials consist of:
- Trial of Bravery
- Trial of Kindness
- Trial of Wit
Upon successfully completing all the trials, return to the back room for a final conversation with the fairies. They will commend you on your achievements and instruct you to don the special clothing items in preparation to finally meet Princess Aurora.
Next, enter the room where a cutscene will introduce you to the princess. During your conversation, she will clarify the chaos surrounding the Lorekeeper. Shortly thereafter, a magical tome appears, and players must confront the Lorekeeper, who is unhappy with how you and Aurora are managing the dynamics of heroes and villains within the valley, leading her to attempt to erase the world. At this juncture, the Ink-Stained World quest concludes, and players will commence the Tales that Bind quest in DDV.
