NetEase Games has announced the details of the latest patch for Marvel Rivals, released on July 17. This update introduces a nerf for Wolverine, but it also brings exciting news: a Summer Special event featuring swimwear-themed cosmetics and more.

Adjustments to Wolverine
The base damage of Wolverine’s Berserk Claw Strike has been adjusted, increasing from 6 to 8, while the percentage damage per attack at his maximum Rage has been lowered from 4.5% to 3.5%.
Additionally, the cooldown for his Regenerative Healing Factor has been increased from 90 seconds to 105 seconds, while the cooldown reduction during KOs has been adjusted from 10 to 12 seconds.
Primal Flame (Phoenix – Wolverine) Changes
With the introduction of season three, the team noticed that Wolverine’s new Team-Up Ability with Phoenix was causing imbalances for Vanguard. As a result, his Lifesteal during the Phoenix Warrior ability has been reduced from 33% to 25% to tone down his capabilities against Vanguards and re-establish balance.
Summer Special Event Announcement
The update has introduced a brand-new Summer Special event that will run until August 15, offering players a variety of rewards.
Upgrading to the Summer Special Premium Edition grants permanent access and even more exclusive rewards, including costumes for The Thing – Sunshine Thing and Luna Snow – Cool Summer.
New Skins in the Shop
The July 17 patch has also added limited-time bundles featuring Psylocke – Breezy Butterfly and Loki – Robe of Relaxation available in the store.
Additionally, new costume color options have been released for several Heroes:

Bug Fixes and Improvements
General Fixes for All Platforms
Developers have resolved an issue across all platforms where custom keybinds for keyboard and controller could interfere with each other in specific scenarios.
Fixes for Maps and Modes
For certain maps and modes, terrain issues that caused heroes to get stuck or pass through incorrect locations, as well as floating objects and collision problems, have been addressed.
Hero Adjustments
For instance, Hulk’s ultimate ability previously had a glitch where smashes would display incorrectly if the victim was on a portal during the animation. This has been fixed.
The update also rectifies a bug related to Magneto, which resulted in him occasionally experiencing adverse effects when blocking Cloak’s Terror Cape using the Metallic Curtain.
