Although Paper Rex claimed victory at the VALORANT Masters in Toronto, player PatMen believes the team has not yet reached its peak performance.

Joining the Pacific giants in March 2025, PatMen has helped PRX secure their first VCT title after previously finishing as runners-up in two earlier VCT events–this time, they finally succeeded.

In an interview, the Filipino player remarked, «Even though we won Masters Toronto, I feel we are still not at our best.»

«We have identified our weaknesses and are focused on improving them every day. We started a bit shaky in stage 1, but we’re committed to performing significantly better in stage 2,» he continued.

This response was PatMen’s reflection on the competitive scene now that PRX has achieved a win.

The VALORANT meta is constantly changing, with new agents and maps introduced annually, leading to innovative strategies and combinations.

Their distinctive «W Gaming» tag allows PRX to differentiate themselves from other teams, making their matches captivating to watch, much to the delight of their fans.

PatMen also highlighted his contribution to the team: «My role is to ensure everyone is in sync, enjoying themselves, and vibing together, enabling each player to perform at their highest potential without any doubts.»

Currently, Paper Rex is competing in the VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025, where they have advanced to the Playoffs from Group A alongside BBL Esports, NRG, and FNATIC.

PRX has maintained strong performance throughout Masters Toronto and continues to impress in the EWC. With qualification for the quarterfinals (Playoffs) secured, they are just two matches away from the grand final and three matches from winning EWC 2025.

Following the EWC, PRX will return to Seoul to participate in VCT 2025 Pacific Stage 2, which kicks off on July 15.
