Ways to Enter Armory and Obtain Weapons in Black Ops 6 and Warzone

If you’ve missed the chance to obtain weapons from earlier seasons of Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the Armory is here to help you catch up.

Occasionally, older weapons from previous Call of Duty series or even entire games get adjusted, causing them to regain popularity. A good example would be the Krig C and TAQ-56. The former debuted in season one of BO6, while the latter hails from Modern Warfare 2. However, after significant upgrades mid-way through Warzone season three, both became highly favored as top assault rifles on Verdansk.

Whether you’re hunting for a beloved weapon you missed or aiming to align with the latest competitive trends, here’s everything you need to know about accessing the Armory and unlocking those desirable weapons.

Locating the Armory in BO6 and Warzone

The Armory essentially provides a second opportunity to obtain content you may have previously overlooked, including weapons, attachments, perks, wildcards, and other equipment from earlier battle passes or special events. It’s an excellent way to enhance your collection with items that were once rare or difficult to acquire.

Make the most of your second opportunity.

You will gain access to the Armory once you reach player level 24. After that, you can begin completing XP-based tasks, each linked to a specific item.

Accessing the Armory is similar in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Barracks or the Options menu (marked by a six-square icon) from the main menu.
  2. Go to the Challenges section.
  3. Select Armory from the available options.

Unlocking Weapons and Items in the BO6 Armory

Unlock weapons from MW2 and MW3 in Warzone.

Unlocking a specific item in the Armory is straightforward. Just activate its XP challenge by clicking on it if you’re on PC, or pressing A on Xbox or X on PlayStation.

Once activated, simply play matches and earn XP until you meet the requirement. Keep in mind that only one XP challenge can be active at a time. However, your progress on other challenges will be saved if you choose to switch to a different item.

It’s advisable to unlock items in the Armory as soon as they become available. Some challenges might not carry over into future seasons, and occasionally, specific items may not appear in the Armory at all, making it wise to secure them while you can.

If you’re looking to speed up the unlocking process, utilize double XP tokens or engage in gameplay during double XP weekends.
