The latest patch for Splitgate 2, version 1.2, has been released, bringing with it a variety of exciting features including the introduction of a Ranked mode, new Weapon Mastery skins, an updated Battle Pass, and a fresh Takedown map, among other enhancements.

Below is a detailed summary of the key features and modifications included in the Splitgate 2 1.2 update.

New Ranked Arena Playlist

The 1.2 update has added a Ranked Arena, which players can access by accumulating 100,000 XP through any other game modes. Players can rise from the Bronze to Champion ranks while competing in three distinct modes: Splitball, Hotzone, and Firecracker.

As you progress, you can earn exclusive weapon Charms and badges corresponding to your highest rank achieved during each season. Developers have also indicated that additional Ranked modes and improvements are planned for future seasons.

Weapon Mastery Skins

New and exclusive skins for weapons are now available, unlocked by fully leveling up a weapon. Completing the first two Mastery Challenges will grant you Carbon and Gold skins.

To access the highest tier of Mastery Challenges and unlock Proelium skins, you must acquire six Gold weapon skins for a single Faction. More Mastery Challenges and exclusive skins will follow in upcoming seasons.
