Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5 are ramping up as the game prepares for its final content releases leading into Season 6. Players can look forward to a range of thrilling additions at both the launch and throughout the season. With classic maps like W.M.D. returning, the Stadium in Warzone featuring free Blueprint rewards, and the conclusion of the Black Ops 6 Zombies narrative with Reckoning, there’s plenty to explore and enjoy.
Season 5 will also feature new events, transitioning from The Reckoning Leaderboard to a fresh event immediately after. In contrast to The Reckoning, this new event allows players to earn rewards across all modes. Here’s what you need to know about the ’90s Action Heroes Event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
How Does the ’90s Action Heroes Event Function in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?
Following the successful model of previous events like Rivals from Season 4, the ’90s Action Heroes is an XP-focused event. Players are required to gather XP through Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone to meet various milestones. Each milestone unlocks a unique reward, which players will receive immediately upon achieving the required XP.
In total, players must accrue 626,000 XP to unlock all milestone rewards for the ’90s Action Heroes Event. Additionally, players can earn two exclusive Mastery Rewards after completing the event, with one reward free for all and the other specifically for BlackCell Pass owners.

As usual, BlackCell Pass holders will enjoy faster XP gains, and players can enhance their progress by utilizing Double XP Tokens.
