League of Legends has achieved a notable «steady state» of balance following the most recent patch from Riot Games, and minor buffs and nerfs are planned in the forthcoming update to maintain champion health ahead of the Mid-Season Invitational 2025.
This season, League introduces an Ionia-themed Summoner’s Rift, a region celebrated for its equilibrium and spiritual essence. While there are not many off-meta champions presently, the developers continue to monitor those who may require slight tweaks to enhance their relevance.
Release Date for LoL Patch 25.11
Regular updates for League typically roll out on Wednesdays, and this upcoming patch follows that pattern. It will first be available on the PBE servers before moving to the live servers. The Patch 25.11 update is expected on May 28, 2025. While the exact release times are yet to be announced for each region, the anticipated windows are:

- 3 AM CET (EU North East)
- 8 AM KR (Korea)
Contents of Patch 25.11
This patch will be relatively low-key compared to the last, which introduced several changes to mage items. It focuses on enhancing champions such as Rengar and Twitch, while also applying minor nerfs to those like Cho’Gath and Smolder, who had received excessive power previously. Additionally, some champions will see neutral adjustments rather than outright buffs or nerfs.
Champion Buffs
The following champions will enjoy buffs in League Patch 25.11:
Ashe
- [Q] Ranger’s Focus: Now accumulates when hitting structures.
Diana (Jungle)
Seeing a slight boost to compensate for previous adjustments to Liandrys.
- [P] Moonsilver Blade: Increased monster modification from 2.25 to 2.6.
Rengar
- [R] Thrill of the Hunt: Cooldown reduced from 110/100/90 to 100/90/80.
Ryze
- [Q] Overload: Increased damage against Flux targets (based on R rank) from 10/40/70/100% to 35/50/75/100%.
- [W] Rune Prison: Damage adjusted from 80-200 to 70-190.
Sivir
- [W] Ricochet: Overall AD ratio increased from 30-50% to 40-50%.
Twisted Fate
- [Q] Wild Cards: Damage has been raised from 60-240 to 70-240.
Twitch
The adjustments focus on enabling AP Twitch to better farm lanes instead of being limited to a support role, slightly enhancing his viability.

Udyr
This champion, also heavily reliant on Liandrys, gets a small buff to adapt to previous changes.

- Total damage raised from 80-360 to 80-400.

Armor growth reduced from 5.0 to 4.5.
Elise
- [P] Spider Queen: On-hit AP ratio lowered from 0.2 to 0.15.
Lucian
- [E] Relentless Pursuit: Cooldown increased from 14-12 to 16-12.
Smolder
- HP regeneration decreased from 4.5 to 3.75.
- Armor reduced from 26 to 24.

Aatrox
- [P] Deathbringer Stance: Damage decreased from 4-12% max HP to 4-8% max HP.
- [Q] The Darkin Blade: Sweet spot damage modifier increased from 1.6x to 1.7x.
- [W] Infernal Chains: Damage type altered from Magic to Physical.
Annie
- Armor adjusted from 19+ 4.7 to 23+ 4.0.
- [W] Incinerate: Damage reduced from 70-270 + 0.85 AP to 70-250 + 0.8 AP.
Garen
Changes are aimed at making Garen’s non-critical and fighter-oriented builds more rewarding. Adjustments to his E cooldown are designed to support longer engagements while maintaining counters for opponents.
- [E] Judgment: Cooldown adjusted from 9 to 9-6; Damage increased from 4-20 + 0-8.2 + 36-40% total AD to 4-20 + 36-44% total AD.
- Crit modifier decreased from 1.5x to 1.4x.
- [W] Courage: Cooldown reduced from 23-15 to 22-12; Damage reduction altered from 30% to 25-41%; Quest capstone (10% total armor/MR) removed.
- [R] Demacian Justice: Damage scaled back from 150/300/450 + 25/30/35% missing HP to 150/250/350 + 25/30/35% missing HP.
Kassadin
This champion will see minor early-game improvements while slightly reducing his late-game power to enhance viability in high-skill matches that penalize weaker early laners.
Armor raised from 19-21.

- [R] Riftwalk: AP ratio per stack decreased from 10% (max 90%) to 7% (max 78%).
Samira
Adjustments aim to improve Samira’s lifesteal scaling, promoting synergy with builds that enhance her strengths during team fights and snowballing scenarios.
- [Q] Flair: Lifesteal effectiveness raised from 66% to 80%;
- [W] Blade Whirl: Bonus AD ratio decreased from 0.6 to 0.5;
- [R] Inferno Trigger: Lifesteal effectiveness increased from 50% to 80%.

Horizon Focus
Despite last patch adjustments to mage items, Horizon Focus continues to feel underwhelming, prompting developers to enhance its competitiveness against other items.
