How to Solve the Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout Puzzle in Ghost of Yotei

To access the Nakajima Ice Cave, navigate to Sarobetsu Lake, home to the Nakajima Sake House. From this point, head west, and you will encounter the entrance guarded by two fox statues, presenting the Kitsune puzzle. Adjust the statues so they face away from each other, which will create an opening for you to crawl through. Upon entering, jump up to locate a platform you can swing onto.

You will find a wall to climb before reaching the second Kitsune puzzle. This one is straightforward; simply rotate the statue twice until it faces the light at the far side. Completing this action will generate ropes that you can leap across to arrive at the Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout.

This area is populated with numerous enemies, so it’s advisable to employ a stealthy strategy, especially since there are plenty of bushes for cover. Additionally, players will incur Cold damage here, thus it is wise to don Taro’s Armor if available. Once you have dealt with all the foes, approach the last Kitsune puzzle located in the center of the area.

Rotate the fox statues to face one another, which will trigger another rope, permitting you to cross. Leap between platforms, and this route will eventually lead you to the Altar of Reflection. Here, you will also find a Puzzle Box that is essential for the Trickster Fox trophy.
