What Occurred During the Star Wars x Fortnite Event?

The Death Star Sabotage event kicked off with players landing on the Death Star, disguised as either a prisoner or a Stormtrooper. Within the Death Star, players worked to deactivate its defenses and were soon joined by characters like Jones, Hope, and Fishstick. The plan takes a turn for the worse when the Empire realizes the ruse, forcing players to battle against Stormtroopers while X-Wings carried out a trench run outside, aiming to obliterate the formidable space station.

Eventually, Jones and Hope get separated, leading Jones and the player to a TIE Fighter hangar. However, Emperor Palpatine appears, using his lightsaber to deflect blaster fire and employing the Force to disarm players and unleash electrical attacks. Fortunately, Hope intervenes with a Rift-To-Go, allowing the group to escape just as the X-Wing pilots succeed in destroying the Death Star.

The Death Star’s destruction occurs just before it can fire upon the island, thereby saving reality.
