It’s difficult to predict what will unfold, especially since we need to start making decisions now,» Yeon expressed during an interview. «I can only extend my sincerest apologies to our fans,» he added.

Yeon acknowledged the team’s «underwhelming» performance, describing their early exit from LTA North as «a significant letdown,» especially considering the progress they had demonstrated over the last two years.

Reflecting on the positive moments, Yeon highlighted the MSI 2024 in Chengdu as his top memory with the team. He recalled the enjoyable experiences they shared during that event, despite challenges, and how the players were there for one another. Unfortunately, he noted that much of that team spirit has diminished, expressing a desire for the current squad to regain that same energy from MSI.

Team Liquid exhibited solid domestic results in 2024, clinching victory in the LCS 2024 Spring Split and finishing as runners-up in the Summer Split. However, the narrative has shifted this year after a promising start. They secured the LTA 2025 Split 1 title, allowing them to qualify for FST 2025, but their performance has notably declined since then.

The team faced elimination from LTA North 2025 after a defeat to 100 Thieves in the lower brackets. Team management now faces the challenging task of reshaping the lineup for the upcoming year.
