Top Loadouts for Season 4 of Black Ops 6

Ranked Play is becoming increasingly competitive in Black Ops 6 season four, particularly following recent adjustments to weapons and updates to the competitive rules.

If you’re working on improving your Skill Rating (SR) and look to climb the ranks, check out these optimal loadouts for the current BO6 season that will help you stay competitive.

Top Loadouts for Ranked Play in BO6 Season Four

Optimal Loadout for Kompakt 92

Compact and formidable.
Slot Attachment
Muzzle Ported Compensator
(enhanced recoil control)
Barrel Reinforced Barrel
(increased range and velocity)
Underbarrel Ranger Foregrip
(better horizontal control)
Rear Grip Ergonomic Grip
(enhanced speed while diving and sliding)
Stock Infiltrator Stock
(improved walking speed while aiming)

Given the Kompakt 92’s slight recoil issues, incorporating the Ported Compensator and Ranger Foregrip is advisable for better stability. However, if you are adept at managing the recoil, consider swapping the muzzle for the Volzhisky Reflex optic, as the iron sights can be less reliable.

Optimal Loadout for Jackal PDW

The new leading SMG.
Slot Attachment
Barrel Gain-Twist Barrel
(enhanced bullet speed)
Underbarrel Ranger Foregrip
(better horizontal control)
Rear Grip Ergonomic Grip
(faster response when diving/sliding)
Stock Infiltrator Stock
(better movement speed while aiming)
Fire Mods Recoil Springs
(enhanced recoil control)

With the C9 removed from Black Ops 6 Ranked Play this season, the Jackal PDW has emerged as the top SMG option. This loadout focuses on maximizing mobility, handling, and recoil control, making it an ideal choice for close-range encounters. While the only barrel choice is the Gain-Twist, it effectively maintains a solid time-to-kill even at mid-range.

Optimal Loadout for GPR 91

A new meta AR following a significant buff.
Slot Attachment
Optic Kepler Microflex
(clear sight)
Muzzle Ported Compensator
(improved recoil control)
Barrel Reinforced Barrel
(increased damage range)
Rear Grip Ergonomic Grip
(improved fire speed)
Stock Infiltrator Stock
(enhanced aiming speed)

The GPR 91 has found its place in the ranked meta due to substantial buffs. While it previously had a medium damage range, it now only requires two headshots to significantly advance time-to-kill at all ranges. By landing two headshots followed by a body shot, players can eliminate enemies swiftly. This is why the Ported Compensator is key, as it ensures that follow-up shots remain controlled.

Optimal Loadout for AMES 85

Still reigning supreme in Ranked Play.
Slot Attachment
Optic Kepler Microflex
(clear sight)
Muzzle Ported Compensator
(better recoil control)
Barrel Reinforced Barrel
(improved range)
Underbarrel Vertical Foregrip
(enhanced stability)
Stock Infiltrator Stock
(improved speed while aiming)

The AMES 85 continues to be the most versatile weapon in Black Ops 6 Ranked Play. I prefer the Vertical Foregrip to boost its precision, but if you’re comfortable with the recoil and prefer aggressive gameplay, you can switch it out for the Ergonomic Grip for quicker handling.

Optimal Class Setup for BO6 Season 4 Ranked Play

  • Secondary weapon: Stryder .22
    • Optic: Kepler Microflex
    • Magazine: Fast Mag II
    • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Melee: Knife
  • Tactical: Concussion
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System
  • Perk 1: Ninja
  • Perk 2: Fast Hands
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Perk Greed: Flak Jacket
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed

Consider using Perk Greed over Gunfighter as your wildcard in BO6 Ranked Play unless you prefer an eight-attachment setup. Perk Greed provides enhanced flexibility and utility, which can be critical during ranked matches.

Select Flak Jacket for the first perk, as it is essential for minimizing damage from explosives amidst the frequent explosives on the field. Choose Fast Hands for your second perk for quicker swaps and equipment deployment, providing an edge in intense gunfights.

For your third perk, choose Double Time. It extends your tactical sprint, key for rapid rotations in Hardpoint or closing gaps in critical situations. Utilize the additional slot from Perk Greed for Ninja, which muffles your footsteps, making it challenging for opponents to track you.
