As with many open-world RPGs, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon presents optional romance elements. While the romantic aspects may not be as extensive as those in titles like Baldur’s Gate 3, developer Questline has included a few characters you can pursue to enhance your gaming experience.

Below is all you need to know about the romantic avenues available in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Romance Options: Alisa and Morgen in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

Currently, only a pair of characters in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon are available for romance.

Alisa, referred to as «the wealthy lady,» is the primary character you can court. Her romance unfolds slowly and includes a comprehensive storyline, making her the sole significant romantic interest in the game. You can find her in the village tavern during Act One, where she will request your assistance. She introduces a quest involving a nearby manor infested with bandits, which you need to clear out. Upon completion, return to her to initiate the romance plot. Utilize flirty dialogue choices to strengthen this romantic storyline.

Afterward, you will need to complete several quests specific to Alisa. Gather the required materials to accomplish the objectives, decline any rewards she offers as gratitude, and she will eventually invite you out on a date. To remain on the right track towards romance, ensure you:

• Deceive her about her husband’s fate after encountering him in a cave.
• Persuade her to stay in the town and become a merchant.
• Fix the pier.

Answer her inquiries thoughtfully, and you will unlock the achievement «Yours Forever,» which entails moving in with her.

The other character deemed somewhat romanceable is Morgen, a mermaid. You will encounter her at the conclusion of the «Deep Calleth Upon Deep» quest. Upon finishing this quest, flirtatious dialogue options will surface. However, engaging with her in this manner leads to a negative outcome, as she will pull you underwater and drown you.

Pursuing this relationship is ultimately pointless, as it results in a game over and provides no achievements or trophies to pursue. Alisa remains the only true romantic option in the game.
