The VCT Americas Stage 2 Finals will take place in São Paulo from September 4 to 6, bringing together four teams for the decisive weekend of the regional VALORANT season. The event marks a milestone for the league, as the VCT Americas finals will be held outside Los Angeles for the first time. São Paulo will host three days of matches, with the competition concluding with a best-of-five Grand Final on September 6.
NRG and G2 have already secured their places at Champions Shanghai, while the remaining teams continue to fight for the region’s open qualification spots. Champions Shanghai will be the biggest VALORANT event at the end of the 2026 season.
The action begins on September 4 with NRG facing 100 Thieves in the Upper Bracket Final, followed by G2 against LOUD in the Lower Bracket Semifinal. The Lower Bracket Final will take place on September 5, while the Stage 2 champion will be decided the following day. The Champions Shanghai group draw will also take place on September 6.
The competitive program will be accompanied by several activities for fans. On September 5, the second edition of the OVERRIDE Showmatch will be held, with Daiki and meL serving as team captains. In this special format, viewers will be able to influence the rules of individual rounds. The showmatch will feature prominent representatives of the VALORANT Game Changers community.
Ahead of the Grand Final, Brazilian artists Rincon Sapiência and Priscilla Alcântara will perform «Faz o Mundo Ouvir,» the official song of the VCT Americas playoffs. The venue will also feature meet-and-greet sessions, team booths, an Artist Alley, official merchandise and other activities throughout the three-day event.
Fans unable to attend the São Paulo finals in person will be able to watch the matches through official VALORANT Esports broadcasts in English, Portuguese and Spanish. VCT Americas Stage 2 will determine the region’s final representatives at Champions Shanghai.
